FreshStone Design was founded in 2009 by me, Ben Clarke, a former session guitarist and wannabe author, who is still yet to complete (and arguably even start!) my much-anticipated definitive biography on soul legend Curtis Mayfield.

Having also previously worked for one of the biggest magazine publishers in the UK, I found myself becoming increasingly exposed to creative minds, such as musicians, artists and entrepreneurial types, who were desperate to have an online presence but didn’t have a clue where to start.

These people were not interested in reinventing the wheel with a groundbreaking (and expensive) website, but they wanted something cool and functional, designed by someone who would actually listen to their requirements and deliver the results in a timely and reliable fashion.

FreshStone Design is not here to display it’s web design prowess. No doubt there are far more technically-able designers operating out there, but the strong point of this organisation is the fact it appreciates the uniqueness of creative minds and genuinely wants to help individuals with a ‘voice’ who need to be heard.
